Ethical dilemma; Is supporting my friend or sister-in-law in their “business” morally acceptable?

Question by Dear Dogma *lapsed Catholic: Ethical dilemma; Is supporting my friend or sister-in-law in their “business” morally acceptable?
OK here’s the deal..

The new friend I’m working with two days ago, after several weeks of amicable discussions surrounding Christianity, opens the morning drive with “So I’ve got a proposition for you, I’m growing a business….

SCREEECH goes the tires…. lol

Actually my memory returns to my sister-in-law and her husband and their “business” I won’t use real names here but lets just say it sounded alot like “Scam-pay”.. The “business” it turns out is classic MLM, Pyramid / Ponzie scheme…that is if you accept the criticisms listed in a resource considered by some as suspect, but agreed by both of us as acceptable common ground when discussing theology (Wiki-pedia)

Yesterday, knowing I was in for the “Did you mention the free taste-testing to your wife?” question early… I retorted back with the ethical problems I had with supporting his venture, I said I saw nothing illigal or immoral about buying or selling “wonder-juice” if you believed it was indeed that….

But given the objections listed in the wikipedia source we agreed on was it reasonable for him to expect me to ignore it.

peace; DD

What’s the dilemma? They’re scammers, so they should be treated like scammers.

If you keep God-First in all things, you will do the right thing.
If you put God First-He will give you what you need for your Life.

Surely if it is a scam then supporting them is not only unethical but extremely risky.

When facing a moral dilemma you should ask a fundie and do the opposite…just kidding.
