Is MLM/Network Marketing for people who are not entrepreneurial for actual business startups?

Question by Beelzebub: Is MLM/Network Marketing for people who are not entrepreneurial for actual business startups?
It always seems like the people promoting MLM are either the bottom of the ladder in terms of entrepreneurial people or are totally kidding themselves.

You can’t ask an MLMer about due diligence or market projections without having them tell you are complicating the issue…do these people even realize how ridiculous it is calling what they are doing a “business”. Essentially, you have these people sign up as reps (with some other company mind you) and never sell enough product on their own to make any money. Then they pull out these one liners their upline told them to justify what they are doing.

Saying MLM is another means of marketing is like saying selling toothpicks is another means of making money…well maybe, but you have to be a moron to go that route.

Will any MLMer actually answer this without slandering me for talking negatively about their “business”?

I will answer the best and honestly. Not that alot of people ever believe you when you say honestly, but here goes. I have a home business and it is not a MLM. It is consumer direct marketing. Some say it is the same I don’t know. I cannot say that I am an entrepreneurial. We, my husband and myself both worked 2 jobs just to pay the bills. We tried Amway and Excel. Like you said we worked hard for very little. We now have a successful home business and it is very legit. We now work only from home on the computer and phone. The main thing about any business you do is you have to believe in it and have goals, be honest no matter what anyone says. We believe in ourselves and we put all our trust in God. We do not feel that it is rediculous calling it a business because this is what we do now for a living. So to answer your question we started and now have a successful home business and we love it. We weren’t very good on the computer but we are trying and learning. We would not talk negative about you because we do not work that way. Good luck and thank you for the time to hopefully answer your question.
